Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 15, 2026
The short version
We want everyone to be able to use robertspt.golf, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA. We are not perfect, and we cannot guarantee every page meets it at all times.
If something on our site does not work for you, tell us at support@robertspt.golf or call (913) 912-1006, and we will help.
1. Our commitment
Roberts PT is committed to making our website usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. Many of the people we help are managing pain, limited mobility, or injury, so an easy, accessible experience matters to us.
2. Our goal
We aim for the website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C).
This is a goal, not a guarantee. We cannot promise that every page, feature, document, or third-party tool will meet WCAG 2.1 AA at all times. Websites change often, and issues can appear as content is added or updated.
3. What we do
To work toward our goal, we:
- use a logical heading structure and clear page landmarks
- provide text alternatives for meaningful images
- aim for sufficient color contrast and readable text sizes
- make sure the site can be used with a keyboard and shows a visible focus indicator
- label form fields clearly and give helpful error messages
- design for mobile, with large tap targets and layouts that adapt to different screen sizes and zoom levels
- add captions or transcripts for video where we can
- check new pages and features for accessibility before they go live, and review the site periodically
4. Known limitations
We are aware of areas that may not fully meet our goal:
- Third-party tools. Some features, such as online scheduling and intake forms, embedded videos, and social media content, are provided by other companies. We do not control their accessibility, but we work with providers where we can and offer other ways to complete the same task (see Section 5).
- Older content. Some older pages, blog posts, images, videos, and downloadable documents (such as PDFs) may not yet be fully accessible. We are improving them over time.
5. Other ways to reach us
If a part of the website is hard for you to use, we are glad to help another way. We can:
- book your visit by phone: (913) 912-1006
- answer questions or take your information by email: support@robertspt.golf
- provide information from our site in another format on request, such as large print or plain text
6. Report an accessibility issue
Please tell us if you find a barrier or have a suggestion. To help us fix it quickly, include:
- the page address (URL) or a description of where it happened
- what you were trying to do and what went wrong
- the device, browser, and any assistive technology you use, if you are comfortable sharing
Email: support@robertspt.golf
Phone: (913) 912-1006
We aim to reply within two business days, and we will work with you to fix the problem or provide the information or service another way.
7. Our clinic
This statement is about our website. If you have questions or needs about getting into our clinic at 12136 State Line Rd, Leawood, KS 66209, or about accommodations for your visit, call us at (913) 912-1006 before you come, and we will do our best to help.
8. Technical details
The website is built on WordPress and relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with WAI-ARIA where needed, to work with browsers and assistive technology.
