Terms of Service
Last updated: October 15, 2026 | Effective: October 15, 2026
The short version
- This site is for general education. It is not medical advice, and visiting it does not make you our patient.
- In an emergency, call 911.
- Booking a visit, including a complimentary screening, is subject to availability. Paid services and any recurring billing are explained and agreed to in writing before you commit.
- We cannot guarantee results. Individual outcomes vary.
- Our privacy practices are in our Privacy Policy.
This summary is for convenience. The full terms below are what apply.
1. Agreement to these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Roberts PT (“RobertsPT,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), 12136 State Line Rd, Leawood, KS 66209. They apply when you:
- use our website at https://robertspt.golf (the “Website”), or
- book, request, or communicate with us about our services by any means, including phone, email, text, or in person.
By using the Website or contacting us, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.
You must be at least 18 to use the Website or book a visit for yourself. If you are booking for a minor, you must be their parent or legal guardian.
2. Education only, not medical advice
The Website and our content, including articles, videos, guides, quizzes, self-assessments, and social posts, are for general information and education. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for an evaluation by a qualified healthcare professional.
Do not ignore professional advice or delay seeking care because of something you read or watched here. Stop any exercise that causes pain or concern and seek care.
If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not use the Website, email, or text to reach us in an emergency.
3. No treatment relationship from the Website alone
Using the Website, submitting a form, or booking a complimentary screening does not by itself create a patient-provider relationship for treatment. A treatment relationship begins only when we agree to provide specific clinical services and you consent to them.
Clinical services are provided by our clinicians according to their professional judgment and the consent and intake documents you review and sign with us. We may decline or refer out if a service is not appropriate for you.
4. Booking and appointments
- Availability. Requests to book are subject to availability and are not confirmed until we send you a confirmation by email or text.
- Accurate information. Please give us accurate contact details so we can reach you.
- Complimentary screenings. We offer a complimentary screening to new visitors. It is free of charge. We may limit availability, and we may reschedule or decline a booking where needed.
- Changes and cancellations. Please give us as much notice as you can if you need to reschedule or cancel. Any cancellation or late-arrival terms are shared with you at booking or in your service agreement.
- Arriving ready. Follow the preparation instructions we send, such as what to wear.
5. Fees, payment, and memberships
Pricing is shared with you directly, and before you commit to any paid service. We do not publish a public price list on the Website, and prices mentioned in conversation or marketing are not binding until set out in your service agreement or invoice.
The fee for an assessment is a separate charge for that visit. It is not credited toward any program or membership, including a 30-day program or an annual membership, if you later enroll in one.
Paid services, programs, and memberships are governed by the written agreement or terms you accept when you enroll. That agreement will describe what is included, the fees, how and when you are billed, and how to pause or cancel. If you enroll in a recurring program or membership, you authorize us to charge the payment method you provide on the schedule described in that agreement. If those terms conflict with these Terms, the written agreement controls for that service.
6. Communications
By giving us your email address or mobile number, you agree that we may contact you about your inquiry, appointments, and services. With your permission, we may also send marketing emails and texts.
Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply. You can unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and reply STOP to any text to opt out. Consent to marketing messages is not required to book or buy anything. Opting out of marketing does not stop essential messages about appointments or care. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.
If we offer any services remotely, such as video sessions, additional terms and consents may apply, and we will provide them at that time.
7. Results and testimonials
We do not promise or guarantee any particular result, including pain relief, recovery time, mobility, strength, or golf performance such as distance or score. Outcomes depend on many factors and vary from person to person.
Testimonials, reviews, and before-and-after results reflect individual experiences, are shared with the person’s permission, and are not typical or guaranteed.
8. Your submissions
When you send us a message, form entry, review, comment, or other content (“Submissions”), you confirm that it is accurate and that you have the right to share it. You give us permission to use your Submissions to respond to you and operate our business. We will not publish your name, photo, or testimonial without your permission.
Please keep Submissions free of sensitive health details. See our Privacy Policy.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break any law or infringe anyone’s rights
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or other users’ information
- interfere with or disrupt the Website, or introduce viruses or harmful code
- scrape, copy, or collect Website content or data by automated means, except as search engines do
- submit false, misleading, or harassing information, or impersonate anyone
We may suspend or limit access to the Website if we believe these Terms are being violated.
10. Our content and trademarks
The Website and its content, including text, graphics, photos, videos, logos, and design, are owned by Roberts PT or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. “RobertsPT” and our logos are our marks.
You may view and share links to the Website and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use our content or marks for any other purpose without our written permission.
11. Third-party sites and services
The Website may link to or embed third-party websites, tools, and services, such as scheduling software and video platforms. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and policies.
12. Disclaimers
The Website is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that its content is complete, accurate, or current.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Roberts PT and its owners, clinicians, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Website or its content. Our total liability for claims relating to the Website is limited to $100.
These limits apply only to your use of the Website and its content. They do not limit liability for clinical services where the law does not allow it, and they do not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or willful misconduct. Some states do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
To the extent allowed by law, you agree to defend and hold harmless Roberts PT from claims, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Website.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If that does not work, the state and federal courts located in or serving Johnson County, Kansas will have exclusive jurisdiction, and you and we consent to that venue.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Changes take effect when posted unless we state a later date. By continuing to use the Website after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms. Changes do not affect a written service agreement you have already accepted.
17. General
- Entire agreement. These Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any written service agreement make up the entire agreement between us on these subjects.
- Severability. If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, it does not mean we give it up.
- Assignment. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization. You may not assign them without our consent.
- Accessibility. We work to make the Website usable by everyone. See our Accessibility Statement.
